Natalie Wood was born in San Francisco - California, July 20, 1938. His Christian name was Natasha Nikolaevna Gurdin.

He married three times, twice with Robert Wagner, the first marriage lasted from 1957 to 1962 and the second from 1972 until his death in 1981.
Natalie Wood drowned on the island of Santa Catalina, 29 November 1981.

Natalie Wood had three children, Natasha Gregson Wagner (father Richard Gregson, adoptive father Robert Wagner), Courtney Wagner (father Robert Wagner) and Katie Wagner (stepdaughter).

Oscar nominations: "Rebel whithout A Cause (1955)," Splendor In The Grass "(1961)," Love With the Proper Stranger "(1963).
But more to the role that made Natalie Wood famous was the young Puerto Rican "Mary" in the musical "West Side History."

Movies critic Leonard Maltin wrote about Natalie Wood: "It's one of the most painful ironies that an actress who gave the world so much pleasure, both as a child as an adult, should be remembered, especially by the unfortunate and mysterious way she died"
